WHERE WE ARE
“Romagna d’Este” is part of the Province of Ravenna, in the Emilia Romagna region. Also known as “Bassa Romagna”, this flat territory stretches between the Adriatic Sea and the hills of Faenza. “Romagna d’Este” is just few km from the coastline of Ravenna and from the hills of the “Appennino Romagnolo”. Its wide and fertile plains are dotted with orchards, wineries, fruit trees, rivers, parish churches, villas, rural houses, strongholds and noble palaces; the territory of “Romagna d’Este” includes the municipalities of: Alfonsine, Bagnara di Romagna, Bagnacavallo, Conselice, Cotignola, Fusignano, Lugo, Massa Lombarda, Russi and Sant’Agata sul Santerno.
HOW TO GET THERE
It is easy to get to “Romagna d’Este” by car (A14 high way), by train (Bologna - Ravenna Rimini railway line), by airplane, thanks to the convenient airports located in Bologna, Forlì and Rimini, some of which offer low cost flights. There are also numerous and convenient coach lines connecting “Romagna d’Este” and the rest of Italy.
