GOYA Follia e ragione all’alba della modernità

Europe’s greatest artists, Francisco Goya, rebellious and unconventional genius, is the only one whose preeminence is on full display in his etchings. From September to November 26th.

Europe’s greatest artists, Francisco Goya, rebellious and unconventional genius, is the only one whose preeminence is on full display in his etchings. Indeed, it would not have been possible for Goya to reach the pinnacle of world notoriety had he not left us his graphic masterpieces, namely his great etchings: Los Caprichos, The Disasters Of War, The Follies, and Bullfighting. The exhibition is installed at the Museo Civico delle Cappuccine and displays all four sets of etchings, which include more than 200 works. An unmissable artistic events, which will feature works with which the Spanish artist paved the way for new means to view the world. In essence, a new era.

Curated by Patrizia Foglia and Diego Galizzi.
